Theda Schlieter Scholarship

Announcement coming soon!

The Theda Schlieter Scholarship is named after one of the 1st Presidents of the Republican Women of Kerr County. Mrs. Schlieter served as President in 1971 & 1972. The Scholarship winner will be chosen from applicants of active RWKC members, their daughters, granddaughters, or great granddaughters. The applicant must be at least a Senior in high school who will be working on her undergraduate, graduate, or continuing education studies. Learn more here.

Representative Andrew Murr received Law and Order Award~~We are Proud of our State Representative!

"I am humbled to receive the Texas District and County Attorneys Association’s “Law & Order Award” for my work on criminal jurisprudence issues during this past legislative session. The Texas District and County Attorneys Association (TDCAA) is the largest statewide professional association of prosecutors in the nation and is an educational resource on criminal, civil, and juvenile justice issues for city and county prosecutors. I intend to continue working to protect Texas and our communities from crime."

Any woman believing in the principles of the Republican Party and who intends to support its candidates is eligible for membership. Objectives are to be an auxiliary to the Republican Party, to support the objectives and policies of the Party, to work for the election of Party nominees, to promote an informed public through political education and activity, to increase effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active participation, to facilitate cooperation among Republican Women of Texas, to encourage qualified women to run for office, to help promote the welfare and growth among Republican Women's Clubs and to foster and encourage loyalty to the Republican Party and its candidates.
