Welcome to the Republican Women of Kerr County. We are a part of The Most Powerful Women’s Political Organization in Texas. Our club was established in 1967, with the first meeting on May 26th at the Taco Hut on Lemos Street. Over the last 55 years the women of Kerr County have worked for the election of the Republican Party’s nominees, promoted an informed electorate through political education and fostered loyalty to the Republican Party. We need your help to continue to reach these goals!
As President, I am enjoying working with a very active and creative board. We had a very successful fund raiser in the spring. The money we raised will be donated to Republican candidates this fall. We have great programs throughout the year at our luncheons to inform us on a variety of topics. This year, we have also had several social events to give everyone an opportunity to meet others in the club. Our newsletter has been sent out monthly and informs our members about current activities and issues. Click the newsletter tab to read our latest issue.
This fall will begin a very important election season in Texas. Our rural areas are critical in Keeping Texas Red. Many of our larger cities are predominantly Democrat, while our rural areas remain Republican strongholds. We need everyone to work at block walking, phone banking or letter writing to contact voters and inform them of the issues and the candidates. Please donate your time whenever possible. It is a fun way to get to know your neighbors! We also invite all members to serve on a committee, as it is the best way to get to know others in the club.
If you click on the “about us” tab you can email any of the board members. Keep informed of club events by clicking on the “events” tab. Be sure to email me if you have any questions or want to volunteer. If you are not a member, please consider joining. If you are a member, we are very glad to have you. I am looking forward to a very busy and fun second half of 2022.
